We were an early adopter of the whole representative government thing. we got a few janky artifacts left over because of that in our system. some for the better some not so much. don't have to change these things. we do need to look at them though and understand the pros and cons.

My Dad is straight up fearful they are going to try to assassinate trump if they can't force him out hence why Haley is still in play. If that happens then I think that will spell the end of The United States one way or another

It’s certainly a concern of mine as well.
The only thing that makes me doubt it is that I question if even they are that stupid and out of touch. Anyone with half a brain has to know that there’s no way people who aren’t total normies would buy it. And in war the option of normies and grill bros don’t matter- they get roped in regardless.

I don't think they have the balls when there are less derisive means of keeping Trump off the ballot, more likely is the establishment refusing him as the Republican nominee on bogus grounds during the national convention regardless of how much a majority he gets and nominates Haley anyway, consequences be damned.
If that happens the party will literally implode, Biden's victory is assured, Kamala gets he twelve-years as President once Biden resigns next year.

If the RNC tries to throw Trump out, there will be a revolt on the state level parties, and I suspect they control what actually goes on the ballot in their given states.
And the only states where the local party might be sufficiently establishment-controlled, are probably deep blue states anyways.

Well she spent all their money on luxury items and trying to make Maga candidates lose. Her failure to stop Trump just proves that she didn't deserve the position.

In large part. She refused by way of not aiding/supporting candidates that Trump supported, instead she spent money fighting against Trump's nominees to back the establishment RINOs.

I just heard she was in trouble for spending a fairly large amount of her budget on luxuries. And that the thing she's in charge of has like no money now.
She got a ton of criticism for not supporting Maga candidates and actively funding people opposing them in primaries instead of consolidating support and funds for the general elections.
Plus losing many many close races to democrats because she refused to give funding to them.
Establishment all the way. Better to fight Trump and Maga than the democrats.
She needed to go she didn't have what it took for the position and yes the GOP would have had both the house and senate with out her bullshit and everyone knows it.
