Its things like this and many others that to my eyes have caused some men to have the opinion that the only way to fix anything is to repeal the 19th amendment and take away women's rights. These men I wouldn't say are religious mind you. They just have this opinion cause of the current climate and well the situation in the OP.
Whats your opinion about this?
I don't think the 19th should be repealed (is that the right terminology here?), as I think that's cultural regression, but I do think something needs to change because the current status quot/course isn't working and is unfairly biased: women are getting away with tons of shit that would be harshly dealt with if they, in such situations, were men.
In this case, the man's identity should have been as protected as hers has been; she should have faced serious jail-time for making a false accusation; and the college should have penalized her instead of the actual victim in this.
Equality goes both ways, not "women+".
Frankly, because things have gone so batshit, I'm now disinclined to believe anything a woman says about sexual-assaults/harassment without strong proof because there's a very real possibility that she was a willing participant in, say, a gang-bang, and is now having what people colloquially call a ''THOT'S Regret'' later or were caught by their spouse, or is using a sexual harassment claim in a workplace to get even with a co-worker for spurning her advances.
#MeToo has helped inflame the very problems it was supposed to expose/address.
The US legal system needs to be revamped, too: divorce-rape, alimony, and bias towards the mother in child custom court-cases needs to be addressed. Marriage at this point is a sham and a ticket to having your financial life gutted and ruined.
If anything, I think a lot of it originates, at least in America, from colleges/universities becoming indoctrination camps for batshit ideals. You can't tell me that if the rot had been cut-out in these camps a generation ago, then a lot of feminist SJW types these days (you know the type: dyed-haired, penis-hating goblins) would instead be regular, normal girls/women having normal relationships/dating lives.
If a woman has a few serious relationships or casual flings before settling down with someone she loves, that's pretty normal. I'm definitely expecting my future girlfriend to be like this instead of some similarly-aged pure virgin stereotype that a lot of people fixate on, for some reason.
However, being pretty much a whore who sleeps around every few days with a new bloke before she met me? Yeah, I'd not date her, honestly. But, in this day and age, if you hold this belief? "You're a misogynist!" smh
