The food shortage will probably be used to get people to live in a pod and eat bugs.
Looks at the whole of human history.
If they honestly think that then they are a special kind of retarded.

Spoiler alert.... they are.... but yeah my guess if or when we get massive food shortages in the US we will collapse like the old Soviet Union with the South and the Midwest breaking off.Looks at the whole of human history.

NGL if the liberal coasts went on a diet as a result I won't shed any tears.Spoiler alert.... they are.... but yeah my guess if or when we get massive food shortages in the US we will collapse like the old Soviet Union with the South and the Midwest breaking off.
Fuck! Just went to a quick grocery run earlier today and the half a loaf of bread I like was PHP 77 from PHP 38 a week ago. Thankful the price of one sack of rice haven't moved yet but it will probably go up because the cost of fuel to transport them will go up.
How about you people, did you noticed any price movement in your local area?
I'm not so sure about that, there is the will there now to go to war, but the government is holding back from direct confrontation because they need to keep their powder dry for China. This is about ginning up support for material for Ukraine so they can bleed the Russians and perhaps greater deployments to Poland. Well that and sustaining a guerrilla war by making sure Ukraine never quits and fights on to really turn this into a Vietnam for Putin.Actually I think its being used in an attempt to wind the US populace up into wanting a war with Russia tbh. The Biden regime is quick to blame everything going wrong on Russia regardless of evidence that says otherwise.

I don't think you appreciate just how preposterously huge the federal government's budget is. Keeping a steady and meaningful stream of munitions and supplies going to Ukraine is a rounding error in the fed's budget.
America's national debt recently exceeded thirty trillion dollars; it doesn't really matter how big their budget is on paper. What matters, is how much longer they can keep postponing the inevitable.I don't think you appreciate just how preposterously huge the federal government's budget is. Ok? I wasn't disputing that. What I was saying is the US doesn't want to get directly involved with significant ground forces.I don't think you appreciate just how preposterously huge the federal government's budget is. Basically for a very long time. See, we can postpone the inevitable as long as China keeps buying our debt, but China literally can't afford not to cause they have so much of our debt. And China can't afford an economic downturn. Or more accurately, the CCP can't. People tolerate them as long as the going is good, but they have a huge educated middle class. That's a red flag for any dictator. If the going get's bad, there is going to be problems, and everyone in China knows it.America's national debt recently exceeded thirty trillion dollars; it doesn't really matter how big their budget is on paper. Where is the pressure for all this "green" bullshit coming from?
