Just curious as to what type of internet the various minions of the Sietch have? So feel free to post yours.

I have had many types. I started out with 3G Mifi, Then I went to Hughes Net Gen 5 (Won't do that again) then I went to Verizon 4G Broadband.
Now my country fried ass has Ultra High Speed Fiber Optic Cable internet. It took the Squirrels years to splice that line all the way to me but the little buggers got the job done lol. But in all seriousness I got it through my local Electric Coop.

I'm not sure - I've got a router thingy which picks up the internet from air, from a cell phone operator - would that be 3G broadband? Or does broadband require a cable?

On your phone you should see a small 3G, 4G or 5G symbol on the phone. It should be near the top of the screen. Or if they gave you a router it should say in the system specs what grade of service you have. Broadband does not require a cable unless you have to directly connect your router to your PC via an Ethernet jack.

Okay, confession I dont have dial up at present but did as late as 2011 given how rural my area is, I was just trolling.😬

In reality, I use 4g on my phone and fiber optics on everything else.
