Marvel What If? The Avengers & X-Men combined at the pseudo-beginning?

Here’s my What If? from reading an old issue wherein the Hulk kept Bruce Banner’s mind even when changed and even told General Ross off(I think being many tons of muscle and larger sorta helps with confidence)into not attacking and proceeding to team up with Reed Richards and Professor Charles Xavier on a project

Basically, what would happen if something similar occurred but with a decision to make an academy or way to interconnect or hire as many superheroes and prospect vigilantes, young mutants and other superhumans included, into this larger organization

And they were all considered or labeled Avengers or something similar

How would things like Human-Mutant relations be if they were to become broader to be Human-Superhuman relations and also a known factor that plenty of superheroes are mutants, though not necessarily advertised?

Honestly combining them both sounds like a bad idea. The two groups are supposed to be distinct but instead will be merged together. Mutants and other non-mutant superheroes being together is a bit of a headscratcher already with one facing oppression comparable and metaphorical to other minority groups and the other not so much. It'll be kinda blurred even more making the distinctive purpose of mutants even more puzzling and a blurred reason for the narrative purpose of the distinction.

Not really an in lore explanation but just my thoughts on it in general. :p

Honestly, I think at times the X-Men comics exist outside of most occurrences in Marvel comics, as in you’d barely know they shared the same universe

Admittedly, I think they already share the whole ordinary human civilians treating them all like shit to varying degrees, or being paranoid, ungrateful and accusatory and blaming them for supervillain actions that they stopped
