July 21st 1943 was the day after Leslie Groves gave Oppenheimer gave him his clearance to be in charge of so many elements of the project.

Becouse you could be technological advanced,like USA in 1945,and still do dump things becouse of politics.
Like not killing soviets when they have both chance and good pretext for that.

USA could be only superpower now with monopoly on nuclear weapons,but they lost that chance - becouse their politicians were idiots.
