What if Armenia ISOTs from May 1, 2015 to May 1, 1895?

What if Armenia from May 2015 is ISOTed one hundred twenty years into the past, into the middle of the time of the Hamidian massacres of Armenians in the Ottoman Empire next door?

What can Armenia do to sustain its population and technology level, stave off being crushed by Tsarist authorities for “rebellion”, and do to aid co-ethnics in the Ottoman Empire?

They will have a population of 3 million, a technologically advanced army, and the ability to make stuff like rudimentary chemical weapons, maybe dirty bombs, too.

Against that you have a geographically large but backward and dysfunctional, even by the times, Ottoman empire with lots of subjugated peoples within it and enemies eager to chop it up.

I think that the Armenians will do extremely well against the Turks, and I am also sure that they will have no trouble on finding foreign aid and allies willing to trade with them and help them carve up the Turk.

But what about their northern neighbor, or landlord/sovereign, who probably doesn't like his southern guberniya's just doing their own thing? I am referring to the Tsar and the Romanov Russian Empire.
 
Nicholas II is not as pig headed as his namesake. The UT knowledge of events (treatment of heamophilia), technology etc. are good commodities. Before fuel runs out Armenia can give Constantinople to Russia.
Hopefully BMP are multifuel (even if at at cost of less power) and can run on barely refined stuff from Baku. Tanks are overkill and can be left at home.

BTW - I believe in Armenian pragmatism - they can offer to enter into vassal status versus Russia. Saving Armenian lives (and territory) matters more than whose flag is on top of the pole. They can always rebel later ... :p

Does this include Nagorno-Karabakh and the surrounding then-Armenian-controlled territories as a part of this ISOT or not?

Any chance of other powers attacking the Ottoman Empire while the Ottomans appear weak? Similar to 1912-1913, only almost two decades earlier?

Of course.I would be suprised if Bulgary,Serbs,Greece and Italy do not joined.

And,no matter what happen next,sralin.trocky and lenin would die.Hopefully with soviet revolution.
Much better world,even for still occupied Poland.

I wonder if the Polonkadonks can petition Russia for Armenia-style independence? As in, they get their independence in exchange for becoming a loyal vassal to Russia.

Nope.Armenia get army capable of beating tsar and capturing Petersburg,Poland not.
Besides,russians had strong polish inferiority complex,and as a result persecuted as even when it hurt them in long run.

What if Armenia will stand up for the Polish cause, though?

Considering how well things went in OTL with the Balkan League I am skeptical of our ability to deal with the Turks before we degenerate into bickering and backstabbing.

Then again, maybe the OTL info will prevent that.

Also, @ATP it is Bulgaria, not Bulgary.

Why should they? armenians once go to Poland and lived as loyal minority here,but - it mean nothing for armenians still living in Armenia.

Well,you would certainly show each other how much balkan countries love,but - it would be AFTER TURKEY GET BEATEN.
So,you could start war,but it not change fact that Turkey would lost its european and part of asiatic posesions.
