What If? An advanced & easily available, durable and mass-produced “Computer” with easy-teaching capabilities existed?

This theoretical What If, is based on my constant insistence or belief that the internet or computers should replace schools and colleges, both public and private, as they already are big stores for information as well as how-to-vids and would cost less time and money and the “teacher” quality would be more consistent or less hit&miss

What would be the effects of this technologies’ widespread introduction? Would schools and colleges try banning or discrediting it? Would there still be that culture which makes graduating from specific schools and completing too many years of wasted time still worth it?

How would economies do when there’s sudden surges in people with middle to upper class skillsets and how would it affect politics? Would people still vote some people in if they analyse things with their newfound skills and knowledge and realise the possible messes that would occur?

How bad or good can the world go?

Also, yes, this would mean you can learn how to make an AK-47 from scrap steel....maybe

And if it helps, maybe think instead of how Neo in Matrix learned Karate really quick with simulations
