So possibly this happened offscreen but did they ever verify that this wormhole is stable? It would rather suck if this turns out to be like the one that stranded the Ferengi in the delta quadrant and takes off with people on the wrong side.

I wonder if we'll see Garak meet his counterpart.

Admiral Garak: "Amazing, we talked for two hours and the only true statement he made was his name."

It would probably put Prime Garak into clinical depression to realize how crappy his life is in comparison.
