In this scenario while on a routine mission during Season 2 of the Mandalorian Dijarin attracts the attention of a certain Yautja. Wolf see's how Din took out the mook Storm Troopers and moves in to take Din as a trophy. By chance Din manages to avoid Wolfs first attack and the two combats square off. Both are not going to back down it will be a fight to the death. Which one wins and what tactics are used? The Battle takes place near an Imperial research base.

Beskar is a bit of an op metal and it can take ALOT of Pressure before giving out. It will be a close fight and he'll only win by the skin of his teeth, but he'll still live to fight another day. It will essentially go down like the mando vs the darktrooper fight.

Din might come out a little rattled from that fight if he survives. I mean Mandalorians pride themselves as being apex warriors. Getting nearly beaten to death by Wolf would give him PTSD for sure.

I wasn't really a fan of Wolf Predator or his abilities. They sent him to contain that outbreak and I feel like he did a very poor job of it. He got a lot of kills on poor Human schlubs and random xenomorphs and put up a good fight against the Predalien but I can't help but feel he didn't do a particularly good job. He got ambushed by the Predalien like three times. Can't help but feel the Predators in One and Two... and even the surviving one (who became a Predalien) in AvP were better skilled.

With all that said, I think the Wolf Predator has an advantage in the fight in that he can ambush the Mandalorian and unlike the Predalien, doesn't have minions and annoying Humans to distract Wolf so he can get the drop on him. Of course the OP states that Wolf missed his initial attack, but I'm assuming he can disengage and re-engage.

If that's not the case, I'd give the Mandalorian a slim advantage and yes, only thanks to the Beskar armor. The Mandalorian ironically would have to keep distance with the jetpack as well and whittle down the Predator with his blaster fire and any other ranged ordnance he can use. I imagine the flamer would be of negligible use due to having to it being relatively close combat for it to gain any utility. The flash charges might be useful, but I think that the blinding effect would be extremely temporary if it does work. The Wolf Predator could also potentially get caught by a thermal detonator or other sort of thrown grenade ordnance since the fight is apparently indoors, but knowing movie/television logic he'd probably survive unless he's trapped in the room with the explosion. :p

The Wolf Predator has scads of weapons as well, including the two plasmacasters, his power glove (like a Predator isn't strong enough already), the combistick, those shurikens which act like miniature flying discs and his xenomorph tail whip. Hopefully the Beskar can tank the plasmacasters, I'll assume it can. The shurikens have a lot of penetration power as well but seem less powerful in their cutting ability then the disc from Predator 2 and I don't know how many Wolf carries. Still I wouldn't want to get hit by one, especially in the visor or one of the joints. Plus they have built in smart tracking capabilities. Conversely they can also get embedded and have no "return" command like the smart disc. Deadly but far from perfectly reliable.

Formidable ranged weapons but I think Din could tank, evade or even deflect (in the case of the shurikens) that if he keeps at range and I think he could keep at range pretty well. If it gets in close though, Wolf survived three rounds of close combat with the Predalien and didn't move as slow and methodical as one of those Dark Troopers. He was strong enough, minus the glove, to rip off limbs (and jaws) off of Predaliens and yeet people. He'd probably batter Din to a pulp in hand to hand combat.

Din has been in hand to hand combat against Moff Gideon whom he won against and a "friendlier" engagement against Cara Dune but I think Wolf Predator could womp on both in hand to hand combat (if Wolf had a weapon that could block the Darksaber) and a lot of thugs of various skills (and sizes). But Din's advantage is that he's far more all around in skill level. He's not just good in hand to hand combat, or even in being a 'warrior.' It's all around. Wolf would have a clear advantage in close combat I feel.

But overall, all scenarios, Din Djarin would squeak out the majority.

Great breakdown.

Beskar is what Saves Din's life here. He has the weapons to compete, which few do. And he's skilled enough to survive the opening ambush and fight back effectively. I give it to him 6 out of 10 times.
