So I did a thread on the Twisted Metal IP already... and just wondering WHY?

And obviously Uncharted came out as a movie and The Last of Us is Being developed as a TV series or whatever.

But apparently they're making a live action IP based on Gran Turismo... the racing game. Did that game even have a story?

And honestly of all the racing games to adapt to movies or television, sure Gran Turismo might have more acclaim and pedigree but we know the best racing video game franchise to adapt that doesn't have a story is BURNOUT!

Preferably directed by Michael Bay or some other Explosions specialist.

Hollywood getting lazy lately making movies ?

You could probably make a list of popular Hollywood movies that aren't adapted from Yuge franchises that weren't lazily made and it'll be probably about as long as that Tweets list.

Looks like that Gran Turismo movie is moving forward. They just got Orlando Bloom cast as... a person I'm assuming.

Sorry I have no idea what character he could play because as far as I know the only characters in Gran Turismo are CARS and this isn't a Pixar movie (or some sequel to Maximum Overdrive).
