Humor/Comedy Silly and Amusing Stories Thread

A lunchtime phone call from my wife prompted this.

We have several 5-gallon water jugs which have been accumulating loose change since we got married that are almost full. She called to say she heard a crash and discovered the table they were sitting on broke. Looks like rolling all that up is our weekend project.

So, what silly and/or amusing stories do you have which might get a chuckle out of others.

I was talking with my wife one day, and we'd been having this conversation for five or ten minutes. At one point I asked her where my cell phone was, wherein she just asked, "Are you serious?"

We were having our conversation by phone...cell phone that is.

I have done the "call my cell because I misplaced it" only for it start ringing in my pocket a few seconds later.
