Calvin Cooligde"silent Cal" as unlike other politicians was not much of a talker was what one would call an accidental president. At 2:30 on the morning of August 3, 1923 vice president Colidge learned he was no longer president as Warren Harding elected toa term of his own in 1924 once again he gave up plans of retirement and listen to party boss's of the grand ole party.

Charlie Chaplin was one of the most famous stars of the 1920s before sound pictures came in but Lilian Gislish was certainly the most if not one of the most beautiful actress to grace I the silver screen in the silent era. The was not only the "Jazz age" but the age of "Silent Cal".

Under president Coolidge the u.s. was able to starve off a recession but very narrowly. president Coolidge made sure the auto industry was well finance and so was the banks unfortunately the stress of the presidency took its toll on president Coolidge two year from his presidency January 20.1931 Charles Curtis became first Native American president of the United States.
under different circumstances Governor Roosevelt would of won the 1932 election but in reality it was not meant to be.




Tom Mix western actor would survive his car accident mid1920s continue making silent westerns untle his retirement in 1930.


premiering the year 1928 included the Rudy Vallee Fleischmann Hour. America's radio listeners became familiar with Vallee's opening, "Heigh-ho, everybody," and his signature singing sign off of "Your Time is My Time.

President Curtis attempted in his first full term to pass social and job programs to end or at least Hasten great depression of thev1930s in this time in history.there were dust bowls and many farmers moved about the continental territory as jobs began getting scarce.many people in the 1930s cheered on couples like Bonnie and Clyde who robbed banks.at this time in the 1930s banks were considered public enemy one by the American public.
Radio programs such as Amos n Andy were popular as was swing music.

The most devastating strike came at Pearl Harbor, the Hawaiian naval base where much of the US Pacific Fleet was moored.

1.Japan could attack Pearl Harbour ONLY becouse FDR moved fleet there in 1940 - it was in USA before.
And,Japan attacked becouse of oli embargo - why USA here should made it here ?

2.Henry Walace - who was he? i remember some commie with the same name.
