So, I just finished this one and while it was still enjoyable 2 definitely outclassed it where both humor and maps were concerned.
Lo Wang is still the most entertaining protagonist in action games, but some of the jokes were a bit too lame.
Now, for the bad part.
First of all, even though they lampooned it, the addition of parcour, a grappling hook, and other silly platformer-like acrobatics really annoys me.
For all of the wide open spaces The Wang has to traverse, the areas where actual combat happens often feel smaller than what we had in 2.
All in all, this thing is linear to the extreme, with no side jobs and an arsenal that is far more limited than what we had in 2 , and some weapons like the Basilisk being utter crap.
No options for free roam, no side quests, and no fortune cookies.
Enjoyable, but at the same time disappointing and way too short.
