No one can explain where all the data is physically stored or what’s powering it

But any and all devices that can use the internet are still functioning and said internet is extremely fast

How does society do when you can still email people and post videos? And look up wiki’s?

Presume it’s also a sort of Post-Apocalypse where people have gone crazy and there are wasteland cults and scavenged technologies

Kinda hard managing to get them all or finding them all, I presume there would be millions of iPhones and computers and maybe even some of the tech to reproduce them, albeit at a cheaper and less refined level

Finances? No. Its a post apocalyptic world, financial stability probably wouldn't be a problem as it is now.

Finances were a thing in Mad Max and Fallout

Presume that the water purifier is now owned by some crazy dudes who think they can use it to spread a genetic plague

If there was a waterborne disease around, filtration wouldn't do much unless you use specific methods. Otherwise the easiest method is to simply boil the water. Every other common methods seems unlikely to be available in a post apo world.

I'd be more worried about the crazy people though.

Easy, gather some dry leaves, use a magnifying glass, or 2 pieces of wood. But the wood thing takes a long time. Trust me, I've tried it once during a camping trip.
Once you get a few sparks it's pretty easy from there. The trick is to keep the fire going afterwards. In which case, the best way is to boil a large quantity of water from the start. Enough to last a few days at least and then wait for a few days and repeat.

But according to your op, the people would most definitely would try to steal your supplies, so it's not exactly a win - win scenario. But on the plus side, a lot of people would probably search the net for the solutions and probably reach the same conclusions as you did and probably would try to do the same. So there's a slight chance of lesser use of violence I guess? Although that's not likely.

Simply put, it will probably be a mad max kind of scenario like you brought up. Internet wouldn't be very useful since, there probably won't be any electricity available to charge your devices nor there might not be any devices left to begin with . If both issues are absent , it'll defeat the whole purpose of your thread

Depends, are there people who actually still work for construction or is there a new company that will take the order and the money? If so, yes, but expect it to maybe be more expensive and there will be a courier's fee because the courier has to run through a place full of dangerous mutants

Also, there's somehow like INFINITE storage in this Post-Apocalypse Internet, you can upload like infinite stuff

Also, I thought even stuff like online money depended on physical assets like gold

Well it depends on how big this apocalypse is and how much of a setback for humanity it would be, if it's caused by humans you can bet people will be debating just 'who' is responsible for it.

Another thing would be if the President or any other leader is still alive they can coordinate resources and rebuilding better ensuring to some extent that the country doesn't completely fall apart at the seams.
