So before China resorts to invading Alaska a portal opens up in Paradise Islands, China negotiated a deal with Paradise and offers them protection in exchange for resources so Paradise becomes a tributary state of China. The portal is located in the capital of Paradise but is only big enough to fit a handful of trucks through at a time.

Can China protect Paradise (Immediately Post Warhammer Titan Death) from WWI humanity?

Even a single road can transport a lot of stuff over a period of time. We don't have much indication of the technology China possesses but against broadly WW1 level technology, suits of power armor and aircraft and armored fighting vehicles like near future tanks and the like should be able to ensure Paradise Island is protected from amphibious assault, or at least those assaults can be thrown back into the sea if they do make a successful landing.

Let's not forget China's Stealth Submarines which are gonna be centuries ahead, get a smallish fleet of them and they can make the Island unassailable from the Sea, Submarines assembled on Paradise with the appropriate facilities can then sink battleships and carriers before they can gather in sufficient numbers to launch a successful ground campaign.

Small coastal submarines might be plausibly transportable on a truck based road but I'm not sure. I feel like it might be more efficient bringing through truck based anti-ship launchers and transportable erection launchers for larger anti-ship ballistic missiles if they have those in stock. Depending on range I would assume that Fallout China has the ability to strike across the straights to the mainland and any nearby port facilities and shipping.

But bringing in maritime strike weaponry is a good idea, I didn't even think of it before when I first stumbled upon the thread.
