I’m not so good with history IRL but Here’s the What If?

Numenor before they go and beat the shit out of and capture Sauron, finds itself ISOT’d as being part of the British Isles

How do they deal with their new surroundings?

Also, do the Romans gain an ambition to conqueor them and spend lifetimes doing it

They're a race of 6'5 telepaths with metal steamships, super strength, Greek fire that burned like Napalm and detonated like pocket nukes and fought a war against an enemy that outnumbered them 20-1 and by war I mean "A numenorean Admiral named Cyrutaur showed up and then Saurons entire military ceased to exist for about six hundred years".

They overrun the entire planet and do whatever the hell they please.

Telepaths? Where’s that?

Everywhere...Numenoreans had watered down copies of the abilities of Elves and the nobility could read the minds of lesser men and even dominate the weaker ones. Denethor, flat out mindprobes Pippin at one point and has that weird aura thingy..Saruman and Gandalf had where Pippin got mind squeezed into seeing him as this mighty lord...and he got convinced for a second or two, he was looking at someone mightier than Gandalf.

Edit - they could also communicate with their horses psychically across long distances...

Honestly, kinda hard remembering Silmarillion so much, even just a few chapters

Somewhat less so with Lord of The Rings and Hobbit but it’s been at least more than a year since I read Tolkien

Best way to describe Numenor is "If Captain America was a dude from an entire subspecies of Captain Americas, who also read minds and talked to animals and lived as long as Vulcans"

Numenoreans had some ludicrously advanced technology too. Including solar powered lighthouses and they could make marble and granite that was indestructible to anything but an earthquake violent enough to rip a canyon into the ground it was laid into. Oh and Amon Hen and Amon Sul were like..God Sats.

Frodo was able to remote view shit hundreds of miles away and the technology had failed and was a broken ruin by that point.

And then you have the temple of meneltarma which..I'm pretty sure is a thing we couldn't construct.

If neither the Numenoreans or the Romans aren’t attacking each other yet, though the latter is a definite loss

How would say a Roman “ambassador”’s visit go and what would be advice the Roman Empire and what would the Roman Empire do in the long run?

And at the end they had good odds against the army of the Vanyar that defeated the first Dark Lord.

Also, Numenor is more like a subcontinent than an island. If it's ISoTed next to Britain, the tidal waves wreck most of the Atlantic coast.

I usually have the idea that the reality warp/teleportation is near-seamless

Like Cyrodiil ALWAYS being NOT a horrible jungle in Elder Scrolls, after Tiber Septim used CHIM to retcon history but with people KNOWING it was different
