Basically modern day Manhattan is transported 40 years backwards replacing Manhattan of 1980.

What kind of impact will the tech, people and knowledge have on the US in Cold War era?

And how would this change further if the year to where Manhattan was transported was 1970 or 1960?

And assume all the satellites, etc... modern day Manhattan tech requires are transported as well along with a factory to produce new parts for the tech.

There are a lot of cool technologies in modern New York, but the leftism of 2020 will be on full display for the entire world. Completely with SJW’s, demographic transformation, and a whole host of other leftist plans for the world that they were keeping on the down low 40+ years ago. It would also be a catastrophe because NYC is one of the most important cities in the world and now all of the influential people there have essentially disappeared or maybe just gotten 40 years older.
