I doubt much would change to be honest. You still have Neo Nazis and others who say that the Holocaust didn't happen despite the evidence. You'll always have dumb kids who don't know any better believing socialism will work and you'll always have lazy, do-nothing, incompetents who mask their inability to succeed in life perpetuating the myth of communism (socialism exists to bring about communism and when you get down to it, both are close enough that the distinction is often academic at best) being good or possible.
Typically speaking, there are three kinds of communist. You have kids who think that communism is possible, they range from fourteen to fifteen to maybe about twenty-one to twenty-three. They eventually realise that it's a hilariously unachievable pipe dream and grow up. Hell, when I was younger, I thought communism could work too.
Then you have the indoctrinated believers who range from twenty-five and up, the kind that go "Real communism has never been tried before". They either never got a job, live with their parents without contributing to the family in any appreciable way or they barely scrape by on welfare. They will be the amongst the first people to be purged like the kids who'll refuse to work the fields or factories. Their dream of spending all day writing slam poetry will be forever a dream. The academics and the rich elites that push for this never seem to realise that they're part of the bourgeois and they're going to end up against the wall too.
The third type of communist are the leaders, the people who rise to the top through either charisma or brutality like Stalin and Mao or most likely a combination of the two. These will be the people who'll get into positions of power because they're not going to be weak like the previous two groups. They'll get into power with their cronies and they'll live in the lap of luxury while everyone else starves. It's been like this in every communist country.
