It's preliminary at best. They've agreed to a framework for talks to end their land and maritime border disputes. It's still a long shot with how pernicious the influence of Iranian backed organizations are in Lebanon but still a step in the right direction.

 
I think the biggest interest of Lebanese monied elites is in the maritime border, so the countries can form unified front against Turkish encroachment. I reckon they will leave the Sheeba farms problem unsolved, in order not to get blown up by ''totally not Hezbollah''.
 
I’ve heard Syria(wreck that it is) is open to negotiating with Israel as well.

Perhaps Israel will gain peace with its neighbors at last.

Perhaps the secret to peace in the middle east is to recognize that the Palastinians are a lost cause and try getting peace every where else first, then when their completely diplomatically isolated and have lost all leverage then you can attempt peace.
