Alternate History Human Beings had evolved control over our own bodies before the Bronze Age?

Our evolution long before the rise of Bronze Age civilisation, somehow made it so that our brains had much better control over our bodies

We could regulate our hormones, dull pain, heighten our senses, detect poisons, breakdown and comprehend the material of something with our senses, unleash more than 100% of our physical abilities, render ourselves immune to viruses, poison and disease or at least actively resist it, reverse and/or prevent ageing and many other uses

We would still need to eat and drink, if only because regardless, we are always using some energy and biomass to function

How would human beings be longterm if we didn't need the original tools we used for survival? If we could discipline ourselves easily and even ignore mating

Sapient and Intelligent, without the need of tools, could we still build civilisations when our limits are lesser?
