Potentially important information now that Spot's more blatantly weaponized kin are showing up. Let's hope we never need it, but keep a copy just in case.

This is clickbait, and not even good clickbait.

We are so far away from this thing, or anything like it, being deployed to brutalize protesters or whatever that first guy is rambling about it's not even funny. Spot is not capable of hand to hand combat with humans, it's a glorified RC car. Giving advice on how take it down is the equivalent of sending out a PSA on how to stab through the weak points of that stupid gold armor Lil Nash was wearing at the Met. You're never going to need that information, if you try to act on it anyway you're going to get an ass kicking, and if you're ever in a similar situation and need to know what to do, it's going to be sufficiently different that this incredibly specific advice will not help you.

Boston Dynamics has been trying, without success, to sell their slow, loud, expensive and overly complicated robot dog-goat thing to the military for like ten years now, the fact they they've now duct taped a gun to it doesn't mean it's finally ready to be deployed, it means they needed to do something new to get clicks (which clearly worked). If by some absurd twist of fate you end up getting into a shootout with one of these things, you will not have had time to set up some scooby doo esque booby trap to take it down with nets, magnets, and a pressure washer, your options are "shoot it right now" or "disengage and shoot it later", anyone suggesting some sort of net launcher anti-robot contraption is an idiot.
