Exactly as you said.IoM do not cared about its serfs or even soldiers,so as long as it do not target Mechanicus, important priests,ot nobles,it is safe.Unless it eats somebody important - not likely, yet not improbable - it dies of old age or obesity induced heart attack??
There are some pretty powerful gangs roaming around the underhive, with the usual Warhammer 40k heavy weapons involved. In fact it could be mutants - if mutated the right way - that might hurt the Predator the most. Or a demo summoned by Chaos Cultists. Chances of either happening are very low, though.
Or maybe a hunting/coming of age bloodletting party of Spirers could be a threat? Again - chances of encounter infinitesmally low.
I actually played the game fairly recently, lots of plasma weapons and the like.It would be a very, very unlucky Predator to run into a gang with a working missile launcher. Heavy stubbers are the heaviest weapon a rich gang is reasonably expected to have.
Then again, I read the sourcebooks about a quarter of a century ago
Dunno, I am going by the FPS.We have very different visions of Nekromunda, then
As it is a RPG at heart, a lot depends on the GM.
And I'm going by what I remember from the skirmish game books. Two different worlds, I'm certain, as far as equipment is concerned.Dunno, I am going by the FPS.

In the narrative skirmish game with minis you had "juves" armed with naught but knives, as you did not have money to buy pistols for them.
Try to find the rulebook - I remember enjoying the read.
Obesity? I think you are confusing the alien the thing that eats people with the predator which just hunts dangerous prey for sport.Unless it eats somebody important - not likely, yet not improbable - it dies of old age or obesity induced heart attack??
