So as all of you know, this weekend is know for one of the most important Holidays of the year. Of course I speak of Trans Visibility Awareness Day.

Trans Visibility Awareness Day actually goes back almost two decades. It was founded by Rachel Crandall-Crocker, back in 2009, a person who looks probably exactly how you expect a middle aged Trans activist from Michigan to look.

Zhey said the reason they chose March 31st is because zu preferred some distance from the other Transgender Holiday of the time, the Transgender Day of Remembrance on November 20th which was established by a different middle aged trans activists who... also look pretty much how you'd expect back in 1999. The Transgender Day of Remembrance honors and memorializes the victims of Transphobia while this Holiday boosts AWARENESS and VISIBILITY of Trans People and zhur issues.

Also this date was chosen because it was far away from Pride Month, which takes place all of June, which began after the Stonewall Riots of 1969.

However this does overlap with Bisexual Health Awareness Month and more importantly National LGBTQ+ Health Awareness Week, which is convenient.

In April, no April Fools Jokes please, there'll be be plenty of time to prepare for National Youth HIV & AIDS Awareness Day on April 10th which I only mention be ause it's related to National Transgender HIV Testing Day on April 18th.

Now it's important to point out transgender doesn't mean you are nonbinary but you can be, in which case Nonbinary Parents Day takes place on every third Sunday in April which this year is April 21st.

I know what your saying. But Husky... I don't care about LGBTQIA+ people unless they're hot lesbians.

Well don't worry, starting on April 26th is LESBIAN VISBILITY WEEK!!!!1 😰💦

Which relates to May 5th which is International Family Equality Day. This is followed in turn by National Honor Our LGBT Elders Day for all of the Boomer Degenerates on May 16th.

But don't sleep in, because May 17th is the International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia, and Biphobia which Uhhh... I guess is different from the Transgender Day of Remembrance.

Harvey Milk Day is on May 22nd which is the birthday... Or death day of famous Queer politician Harvey Milk. I forget which. Then you get a day off to prepare for Pansexual and Panromantic Visibility Day is on May 24th. :sneaky:

I know what your thinking, next is Pride Month right?

WRONG!

Queer and Transgender Asian American/Pacific Islander Week is every last week of May for all of you ladyboy appreciators out there!

Then it's PRIDE MONTH ALL JUNE!

Except in Canada where Justin Trudeau will arbitrarily declare all Summer to be the Summer of Pride Month in order to defray suspicion from multiple ongoing political and financial corruption cases.

I know what your thinking. But Husky, with all of this "celebrating" I need to make sure I'm safe. Well don't worry, National HIV Testing Day is on June 27th! Yes... Another Queer HIV/AIDs focused day. How odd...

Oh what's that? You weren't talking about Physical and Sexual Health but something... higher? Well don't worry, June 30th is Queer Youth of Faith Day!

But when your done worshipping off your knees it'll be time to remember those Queer folks who don't have the blessings of full ability because July is also Pride Month... Disability Pride Month!

Unrelated... or not... NonBinary Awareness Week will take place on July 14th... Which IIRC was also Bastille Day. It's important to note NonBinary Awareness Day is merely one day of the full NonBinary Awareness Week which serves the same purpose but longer.

It's important to note that being Trans and/or NonBinary isn't the same as Drag however, who celebrate July 16th as International Drag Day.

Late summer is a rough time however for Trans Visibility as the next Trans focused Holy Day for zose people is Transgender Flag Day on August 19th. But it's not all day because August is actually Transgender Pride Month!!!!1

Which shouldn't be confused with Transgender History Monty which is on October but we'll get there soon enough.

Because August is... Is...

I'm sorry... Happy Easter Weekend everybody. This is a time where Christians both heretical and obviously correct get together to commemorate the crucifixion of Jesus Christ upon the cross and his resurrection.
