What If? Final Fantasy VII Monsters on our Earth

One day a bored ROB decides to entertain himself. He takes all of the random monsters that appear in Final Fantasy 7 and place them on our Earth. More specifically. North America, The UK, Australia and China. He also brings one of the weapons.

More Specifically this Weapon.



This Weapon will be attacking all countries that don't have a monster population placed by the ROB. No one gets off scott free. So how does each country now deal with the new normal? How do regular people react to monsters being in our world?

It will be chaotic for sure. But in the US the Military should get the situation under control in a few months.

Assuming our weapons are up to task. Final Fantasy 7 is a world that is pretty hardcore and unforgiving with the shit that gets thrown at the human population there.

Our weapons would be overkill on most of the monsters to be honest. The conventional weapons in Final Fantasy 7 were basically 1930s tech. Even their steel swords could kill a monster. The only difference is they had Materia to do magic spells. But even their basic weapons could kill the average monster. Now Weapon that will be a tough nut to crack for the rest of the world.

The monsters will initually inflict heavy losses taking overall unarmed civilian populations by surprise, but once people start packing guns and chainsaws and swords they will become much more manageable. Lots of people will die every year but it won't be a civilization ending threat. The countries assailed by the Weapon are doomed, though.

Ironically this will end all gun control laws.

No Materia. But everything that is currently in the black part of the DOD starts getting revealed to the General Public and some of it given to the general public because of the crisis we are in. So Energy Rifles, Power Armor and Mechs etc.
