How do events play out from then? Presumably with less destruction having been dealt by Zion, the world is less shitty and Eidolon can just recharge his powers again and again and again from criminal parahumans

Since Cauldron's main objective has been taken care of, they should hopefully try to fix all the alternate earths.
I haven't read Ward, but apparently some shards stop working correctly after Scion's death. Perhaps Eidolon can geta power to help fix that.

I read a bit of Ward, apparently Triggers get “broken” and the powers go to varying degrees of crazy and result in gigantic beings made from the “powers” themselves

Also, Teacher had plans
