It looks like Sony's Playstation Store has Helped Affirm the Fears Over Digital Media and Whether Purchasing Said Media Means You Own It. For ages now it's seemed rather clear that the legalese and terms and conditions means that you don't actually own that digital media in many cases, but instead are only paying for some bullshit license or whatnot and there have always been cases proving that is true.
But this seems to be a bigger one as now Sony is stating that their StudioCanal (a major French based media company) related movies and television shows will no longer be available to Sony Playstation customers including those who paid for said movies and television and furthermore, there is no indication that the customers will be refunded their lost purchases.
