Griffith is a hypocrite and a selfish edgelord, he diddnt throw his hissy fit because he was somehow misunderstanding Guts, he threw his hissy fit because he's a child who can't handle not having what he wants. His rules are for *him* his philosophising is for *his* aggrandizement, if anyone else tries to do what he espouses he loses his shit.

And the moment he realises that Guts actually took him seriously on said philosophising may lead to more mumbled up words?
