It's even been noted in official American journalism that a character like Belldandy simply cannot exist in Western media, not since the rise of feminism. This, despite the fact that in Japan, Ah! My Goddess is one of the longest-running and most well-known romantic fantasies in popular fiction.

Back to the main topic, I'm getting the idea of getting as many copies of classic works from 19th and early-20th Century authors, if not from older times. Because at the rate things are going, classics like the Iliad and Odyssey, the Aeneid, the Divine Comedy, the Prince, Much Ado About Nothing, King Lear, the Count of Monte Cristo, etc. are probably going to be out of print by the end of the 2020s. If only because they were written by white, male authors, and in the case of the Aeneid, glorifies autocracy and imperialism (the Aeneid literally is cultural propaganda for the reign of Emperor Augustus of Rome).

TBH, sometimes I wonder how long until they start demanding the US Constitution be replaced since it was written by white men who also kept slaves.

If the DRM hasn't been cracked yet, its working as intended.

To bad the service the DRM locks you into is a piece of shit, so that means lots of people won't use it until they're forced to... and when it folds (because it's a Japanese owned company, so odds are high that it'll fold), you won't be able to keep the books you paid for.

Problem is, the rabid weirdoes have control over the media and are endorsed by it

Also, things like “fandom” or those most active in it or obsessed with socialization particularly online lose out to the SJW types who frankly just have more time available to take control and even be mods

Not as much as you’d think and most of those medias are taking major hits, with new non-woke ones emerging.

Really I see this attack on anime by the regressive left as an act of desperation. Thanks to them ruining media in the west, people are starting to take notice of anime and manga, and since the regressives can't control how it's made, they're doing anything they can to keep it from being imported. And since crying pedophile will get most people to go along with banning something, that's the angle they're taking. Which is pretty rich because a number of the people attacking anime now as pedo-bait end up getting outed as actual pedos, and more recently we've seen the left fall over themselves to defend a movie that actually sexualizes young girls.
