It becomes tradition for Monasteries and Religious Schools to have guys train with armed/unarmed CQC, train with firearms, train with military and law enforcement tactics
To officially gain your vocation, you must be able and willing to defend your congregation as well as argue both philosophy and theology as well as law and economics
If they cannot obtain firearms, they may obtain steel weaponry, if they cannot obtain those they may use nerf guns and bokkens, if they cannot use those they may fight with their bodies or illegally acquired weaponry
What happens in the long run if this tradition is somehow something that never goes away even a thousand years into the future?
