Am doing some checking on this(nothing great, just looking at wikipedia). Brezhnev was born in what is Ukrainian territory, no mention of ethnicity. Khrushchev was born in Kursk Oblast, close to the Ukrainian border, but again, no mention of ethnicity. Andropov's father was of Don Cossack...- Word Count: 150
