Ironically, to call back to the early Transformers comics, have Spider-Man meet Bumblebee... who cons his way in as a Stark Industries prototype. Tony Stark then deploys the suit, and blasts Bumblebee. "Peter, in what universe do you think I'd come within twenty feet of a 1971 Volkswagen Beetle?"- Word Count: 51

One interesting note: When Transformers first appeared on the pop-culture scene in 1984, their comics were done by Marvel. There was even a crossover with Spider-Man. So, suppose Marvel hadn't allowed Transformers to slip away... and the Avengers were fighting alongside Optimus Prime...- clancyphile
