Hovering around .500 or a bit above. Haven't seen a Pacers game since a bit before Christmas. I've also been preoccupied since New Years and likely won't see at least the next few.

They're rebuilding while remaining competetive. We shall see.

No. The Warriors are pretty much average in terms of player age.

Yes. They're basically Steph Curry and not much else. They can't even put together a starting linup containing five above average players.

Probably not. They're currently 14-13 and hovering around 8th-9th in the standings. If they're 10th when the season ends they'll need to win 2 on the road to get to the 1st round.

Just started? Every NBA team has already played at least 25 games. An NCAA DI regular season is capped at 29 non-tournament games. NBA games are also 8 minutes longer than NCAA and FIBA games.

I read a book when I was a kid written by a coach when he was a kid about "here's how you play basketball" that he almost certainly read.

Honestly, you usually don't need to tag people when you post something. If they're following the thread they'll get an alert. If they're not following the thread they're probably not interested in it unless it's a fairly new thread they haven't spotted yet.

A big part of why men and women don't get paid the same when they're athletes playing the same sport: mens sports tend to emphasize strength and speed while womens sports tend to emphasize skill and grace. Take gymnastics for example. A female Olympic Gold Medalist, fr'ex, is probably not much...

I'm a die-hard fan of the WUSTL Bears. What of it?

They also played their entire careers with just one "boring small town" team, which is what I was pointing out.

Three ABA titles aside (which don't count according to the NBA) the Pacers have a long history of "Always the bridesmaid, never the bride." when they're good. To a lesser extent the Utah Jazz and Minnesota Timberwolves do too. It takes a really special type of very good player for them to say...

Not really upset anymore. More like miffed because the Pacers were the only team during the Bulls 2nd 3-peat which actually had a chance of defeating the Bulls. When the Bulls went 72-10 and practically waltzed their way to the trophy a Pacers team with a losing record was the only team the...

Highlights of the '98 Eastern Conference Finals: I forgot that Reggie Miller played part of the third game and games four through seven with a sprained ankle. Scotty Pippen was right when he basically said that the Pacers were the better team because the Pacers were up by three with 9...

"It ain't a series until someone loses at home." On another note, three hilarious instances of the Pacers taking advantage of an opponent's screw up come to mind. I think the Celtics were victim all three times. I know they were for at least one ... - The guy who was supposed to shoot the...

I don't care who wins as long as the games are well played and fair. The WNBA 3pt line is 20'6". My big sis Euphie is acclimated to 23'9".
