No harm in that, especially if you're single and wish to impress the ladies. I prefer boring and my wife buys my clothes. It's kinda hard to look bad in the basic pants-shirt combo unless it doesn't fit or you're playing mix-and-match with garish colours like day-glow orange and lime green. ;)
