'Coz they're better than radical Islam and would possibly be more likely to support Charlie Hebdo?

I doubt that even Armenians themselves want their old lands back. They know that it would be an extreme bloodbath for them to try seizing and holding them, after all.

The Latins did help Byzantium out a lot afterwards. That's what the First Crusade was about, after all. Somewhat off-topic, but it's quite interesting that Turkey plans to celebrate the 1,000th anniversary of Manzikert several decades from now...

Armenia gets to become a part of a much larger bloc. 450-500 million vs. 200 million. Why would the Turks be pissed off? If they'll already secure Karabakh for Azerbaijan, then I would think that they would want improved relations with Armenia as well, no? Especially if Armenia will allow...

Armenia gets the chance to eventually become a part of a 500+ million-strong European Union, presumably. As for an Armenian revival, that's rather difficult when Turkey is much more populous and powerful than Armenia itself is. Most likely is that a huge part of Armenia's population leaves for...

If Ankara already secured Karabakh for Azerbaijan as well as a corridor between itself and Azerbaijan, then what else could it actually want from Armenia? Having NATO protect two of its members from one another isn't a radical idea: Hungary and Romania are likely both kept in check by NATO...

Russia also saved most of Karabakh for them in 2020. As for US power projection, Turkey is fairly close nearby, no? The US could theoretically use Turkey to project its power into both Georgia and Armenia, no?

That would mean the Armenians in Karabakh get ethnically cleansed and that Armenia could eventually become so fed up with Russia that it exits the Eurasian Economic Union, no?

I like how NATO's position relative to Russia is strongest on the northern front relative to the southern front: On the southern front, Russia still has a wide buffer so far. Well, on the southern front in Europe. The Caucasus don't count since the southern part of them is not in Europe...

Russia demanded that the West end all military cooperation with Ukraine and put a permanent end to all NATO expansion. The West considered these to be unreasonable demands, as evidenced by the West now strongly militarily cooperating with Ukraine and welcoming both Finland and Sweden into NATO.

Never hurts to have extra security, you know? Canada isn't that far from Russia/the former Soviet Union, specifically in the Arctic. You don't know what kinds of genetically engineered polar bears the Russians could send to attack the Canucks, after all, lol! :D
