They ran less hot than more or less every other processor because they hit a thermal shutoff point at 65c. For comparison, modern intel shuts off at 110 and modern AMD shuts off at 105. They also pulled a similar amount of power to the phenom chips, particularly when OCd.

That is... not how that works. Higher voltage creates higher temperatures, but you can absolutely kill a chip at 40c just by having too much voltage.

That is not how that works. Voltage kills chips, not temprature. And that also depends on cooling.

It wasn't just FX that hurt them, it was anti-competitive practices from Intel that lead to them being forced to rush the chips out on a broken process node.

So 1440p on a GPU about on par with an RX5700XT with raytracing. And it still looks pretty good. That's also not the same game.
