Solid iron core, you could mine that until the end of Sol's life and still have enough iron to deal with all those fairy Nox bastards. It hasn't been molten in a human forge, so it's still cold iron even if it's millions of degrees warm.

I was meaning the Amphistaffs actually. They'd be a hellishly useful tool, given what SG-1 gets up to.

Teal'c isn't wrong. Lasers and plasma are fun and all, but there's something satisfying about pure and simple kinetics. Discreet, Did you accidentally repeat a whole scene?

Yu was always one of the more pleasant Goa'uld that wasn't Ba'al. People seem to like to make him somewhat close to a reasonable ruler by our standards. Though one of my favorite quotes about him was that Yu wasn't interested in conquest, he just wanted to play Sim City, just with real people.

The doctrine is great for those who have a database of all the gates. Not so much for the SGC who don't have it. And even if you do have such a database, human (or non-peer error) can still cause accidents to happen. There's probably more than a few sublords that became sub-sized lords a la...

Don't get me wrong, it's helpful for cargo purposes, but different sized gates being compatible with each other sounds like a very bad plan.

The Wiesel AFV. It's small enough to fit through most gates, has enough firepower to be a legitimate threat to the Jaffa, and there are nearly CPLT or MAD battlemech levels of variants, for everything from fighting, medevac, transport, command and control, or others. As much as I'd love to have...

9001 hours in MS paint. And that is why you ask the girl you wanted to take to the malt shop out the first time. The 50's only happens once, make the most of it.

At least this time around they used something more durable than magnetic tape. Depending on what model of camcorder, it might have been one of those weird ones that actually make a mini-CD.
