    Election 2020 Election 2020: It's (almost) over! (maybe...possibly...ahh who are we kidding, it's 2020!)

The Democrats lost any possible chance to pack the courts in the November election. Because they would have needed a majority of somewhere around +6 to do that, and even with Georgia they would only have a tie.

Parts of a thing being right doesn't negate other parts of a thing being wrong...

Actually it's not. In the case of Voting system failure, which shouldn't be possible in the first place since the local superintendent is supposed to go around checking each and every voting machine before the election begins, they are supposed to give the voters specialized paper ballots, not...

Actually they did prove fraud... Or, at least some of them did... What they didn't prove was sufficient fraud to justify to Judges that they should force certain things that might overturn election results.

And I never said I was talking about the 50 cases in concerns to the bit about you confusing things. Those two sentences were separated for a reason. Further, it matters because various media outlets have attempted to continually claim that Trump was responsible for certain things when in...

Your numbers are factually incorrect. Also you're mistaking Trump's legal team with separate groups who also sued.

Not really? They had standing, the Judges just decided it wasn't good enough for what Texas was asking. Actually it would be asking them to rule on the very real constitutional issue that was the core of their case. Which is the Supreme Courts job.

    Election 2020 Election 2020: It's (almost) over! (maybe...possibly...ahh who are we kidding, it's 2020!)

Interesting, I wonder if Texas will refile without the demand for relief.

Amusing how it's pretty much an expanded version of what I have already said.

    Election 2020 Election 2020: It's (almost) over! (maybe...possibly...ahh who are we kidding, it's 2020!)

It does matter. Because almost any Democrat or Republican that refuses to Impeach an unconstitutionally elected President is going to find themselves voted out of office come next election. Such a thing is literally the election soundbite from hell, and both sides would be blaring it against...

And the thing you are forgetting. It would also be grounds for the impeachment of both Biden and Kamala since it would be declaring that the election that put them in office was unconstitutionally decided.

While it would be nice, they don't need remedy, they just need judgement on whether it was or wasn't constitutional.

You're apparently making the same mistake as some of the others in thinking this issue can be rendered moot by any sort of timing or event. It can't.

This is about the states illegally changing the way their people vote.

It might it might not. The potential "harm" from what Texas is asking is real, and it's the biggest problem facing all of these suits. So if the states can turn it from a constitutionality question to that they might be able to get the surpreme court to refuse things.

Skimming the various briefs, it looks like they aren't addressing the actual complaint made by Texas.

<deleted content> Nope, because Early Voting is different from what Texas is suing for.

<deleted content> Except the only one saying it has to get back to SCOTUS inside of 6 days here is you. Guess what, it doesn't have to.
