Stargate Through the Looking Glass and into Heaven.

Time with the SG-1 crew is always well spent, and Jack is almost always a good watch, but the view into Chrichton's head as he struggles with the new realities of this Earth will be extremely interesting.

From the looks of it, it's a space control ship. Fighter carrier with some decent armament to support an attack or defend itself from small craft and fighters.

Yeah, I'mma gonna agree with @Spartan303 and @Knowledgeispower on this. Be useful and get to stay.

@August I think you're borrowing trouble before it's even here. Because it feels like you're critiquing a work of fiction for the faults of OTHER pieces of fiction.

Not sure I'd go Trickster, but it's certainly close. In Kuritan terms... (Man, I really am a BattleTech nerd!) Jack is the Yellow Bird to the Dragon. Yeah, simply not enough production to really whack on the galactic scale.

Stargate Through the Looking Glass and into Heaven.

That's Jack's lot in life...always having to punch above his weight class. What's amazing is how good he is at it.

I mean, the things Earth makes with the fructose will definitely be a hit. The fuel thing is not so big a thing for the snakes simply b/c they have more powerful alternatives. There appear to be a number of corn-family plants in the SG galaxies. So I don't know that it would really be shock...

Hmm...can the program hire David Weber to help plan tech development goals? :P
  17. The Whispering Monk

Actually...have we seen missiles really employed by the snakes at all?

I'm also imagining a system whereby a simple cargo shuttle becomes the Macross Missile Spam...as the origin gate & planet just keep feeding missiles through for the ship guide in.

Mount the Stargate externally to the ship...so that any 'incoming' energy can be directed by the vessel! Instant SDF-1 Superlaser!!!!

Now they just need some snipers up on the roof sending 'welcomes' courtesy of Barret .50.
