True, but I think the technology would proliferate far quicker between human polities rather than between human and alien ones.

Thrust gravity is different than Artificial gravity though. And with AG you can accelerate higher than human norms. That's a huge advantage in space.

It does when you factor in the people of the Verse have artificial gravity technology and in BattleTech they do not.

They have no FTL though. The colonists who arrived came via generational ships. They were there for several hundred years isolated to their systems and built their own technology that is not consistent with BTech rules.

Or maybe keep Serenity as it is but have them rediscovered by the Hegemony or one of the great houses. After all, colonies went missing all the time and the TA, houses and SL were later rediscovering them.

Another 2, possibly 3 settings that comes to mind. Harry Potter and the Unbreakable universe. Possibly the Alpha verse meshed with Unbreakable. Everyone thinks that only amazing things happen in the Wizarding world. They think the Muggle world is boring and mundane where nothing great happens...

Strangely enough there are very few of these. And sadly none of them are good. At all. I feel saddened by this.

There is a fan theory that Predator and Terminator are connected. With SKYNET building its Terminator Infiltrators in the form of Dutch because Dutch is essentially the perfect Soldier and defeated a Predator.

Oh God yes. I'd love to see someone write this! Honestly? I think BattleTech was more advanced in most respects to Pre-War UNSC, and in many respects War era and post war UNSC. The Major one where they fall behind is obviously the fleet. But of course that helps if I narrow down the time...

Stargate/Farscape: Had an idea that Stargate Command quietly funded John Chrictons mission and to test a new hyper rocket of their creation. A proto rocket of what would later be the rocket used on the 302 Fighters. The Galaxy is a big place and Peacekeeper, Scarren, Nebari and the Uncharted...

The Materia magic system is absolutely amazing. I'm inclined to believe that it can function anywhere in any setting and not take away from established magical settings and rules. Or quickly establish one if there isn't one, for settings like Stargate.
