Telecommuting is becoming more practical and accepted. And hopefully that means in the long run that the paradigm of masses of people physically having to travel into the CBD each morning and back in the evening will become a thing of the past.
And then you have a company that refuses to pay people in anything other than its own gift vouchers. Or to accept payment for anything in normal money.
The point is here - revoking the Citizenship of people who shouldn't have it need not mean they are now Illegal Aliens. They could still be Legal Residents.
But there is a difference between being a resident and being a citizen, surely?
So having requirements for Citizenship that not all people there are able or willing to meet doesn't have to mean making them into criminals just for being there.
Because you must be a citizen in order to be employed? Why?
Surely the whole "taking a test to show that you understand how the government is supposed to work" thing should be for allowing people to vote or hold public office, specifically.
