I enjoyed that show (Knights & Magic), I thought it was an interesting subject and world to explore. Sadly it speedruns through the material. Would have been nice for that to have a few seasons to spread out into.

Sometimes I am happy to read the show but (for example) when I'm on my lunch break or relaxing after work I don't want to read while I watch and prefer dubs. Dubs are also more accessible, it's how I've gotten my wife to watch some shows (such as SpyXFamily).

I forget some of the shows I was thinking of, but the one I was most recently watching was Ascendance of a Bookworm, just so much orphan labor and kids in general. It's not a problem really, just something I noticed.

You ever watch anime and think "geeze there is a lot of child labor in these shows"?

I haven't been able to get to a con in years. Last I was able to get to was TusCon in Tucson and that was a more general con. Would not mind getting to one to be honest, but summer is busy for me.

I've been watching the animated Thermae Romae series on Netflix, it's been an enjoyable Roman fantasy based on Roman baths and Japanese bathing culture.

I've been enjoying it, was thinking of picking up the print series.
