There are certainly some of them who have chugged the kool-aid and believe what they are doing is right.... but I suspect that there's even more of them who are there just to break shit and beat people up and ostensibly get away with it.

BLM is pretty much the PR tag they've applied to their protests... these people generally do not give a single fuck about black people, their lives, or anything. Instead, they're doing this shit to both push their narrative and because it's an opportunity for them to tear shit up and not face...

The people who actually live and work there will be begging, but the asshats doing the destruction won't give a single fuck. I strongly suspect that virtually all those reaching for violence and/or doing the looting don't actually live in the neighborhoods they're destroying.
