I'll note that Israel could in theory make most of the shit it buys from the US or get it from other sources including fighter aircraft so long as the US didn't pull a France circa 1968 and not fulfill existing contracts.
And well Israel isn't all that dependent on Foreign Aid the stuff we send them falls under the nice to have but not absolutely needed category. And to put it bluntly most of that money ends up spent in the US anyways
Mind you anyone who thinks Israel will go back the utterly indefensible 1967 borders is snorting stuff they shouldn't. For heavens sake at one point the nation would be 12 miles wide. And that's not even considering the economic impacts
I mean the Corps and the Navy technically are permanent services while the Army's existence is mandated to be voted on every 2 years. Of course that vote never has failed to pass with virtually everyone voting yes
