The one area the UNSC definitely outshines Battletech is in transport capacity and ship mass. Seriously the Phoneix class ship design is from the mid 2300s and masses 44 million tons and the bloody thing is capable of landing on planets

Stargate and Battlestar Galactica seem to be popular crossovers with each other and some of them like the Worldwar Series over on Fanfiction.net are rather good. Others not so much.
