well my initial remark on vigilante justice was this. What I was thinking of was more of the pre-crime type vigilante justice or purification type vigilante justice. I wasin't talking about the cases where you stop a bad guy AS they are doing something bad.

yes really, hitler loved to appeal to family values when it suited him and industrialization was suddenly a great thing when it fed his war machine. He also loved the arab nations and Russia so long as they hated the jews.

I think what's happened is you have a lot of former leftist or would-have-been leftist switching sides not because they aren't still Marxist socialist at heart, but because the left dumped them for another demographic, so they turn to the right in hopes of establishing a grassroots socialist...

Honestly, I'm going back and forth about whether the death of "society" is a good thing or not. As much as I hate to say it there is something about being aware of your own mortality and the futility of life-building character meanwhile "society" has allowed both physical and mental weakness...
