Final Fantasy VII Remake (with nostalgia and extra content)

Your argument is sound and I don't disagree with it except I do think there are some fond memories of disc 2. Trying to think off the top of my head... and it's been a while. The first night outside of Midgard, at that Inn in the nearby village. Big Gun at Junon going boom! Meeting the very...

Final Fantasy VII Remake (with nostalgia and extra content)

Final Fantasy VII: Rebirth trailer released for this Summer Gamefest thing. And yes, it is the sequel to the first part of the Remake. Even get some bits of gameplay in this trailer. And yes, it does take place as expected in the greater Outer World beyond Midgard as per the classic game.

A return to tradition then... https://www.videogameschronicle.com/news/final-fantasy-7-remake-called-the-worst-aaa-pc-port-in-a-long-time/ That is in excellence of porting Japanese console games to the PC. 😁

Final Fantasy VII Remake (with nostalgia and extra content)

I'd prefer to see Final Fantasy Tactics remade, though I am biased what with that being the only other FF game I recall ever playing/seeing and being in a decidedly fantasy setting with a nice solid plot of intrigue and war and politics and a multilayered storyline without the weird 'Asianisms'...

Final Fantasy VII Remake (with nostalgia and extra content)

Well if you go into a game not wanting to like it, then it's not surprising that it's not going to be liked. Silver Mont did a review. His main disagreement seemed to be with the filler content but overall he said it was worth the price tag since it provided about forty hours of gameplay and...

Final Fantasy VII Remake (with nostalgia and extra content)

One thing for sure, despite only covering a 'third' of the original FFVII game, it has enough content that surpasses most Triple A games that have come out, RPG or otherwise. That was one of my primary worries early on but watched it and played some of it, it's super polished, loaded with lots...

Final Fantasy VII Remake (with nostalgia and extra content)

Our one time Youtube benefactor apparently played through the game already. Review will be forthcoming next week but one thing came up... Looks like despite being a "third" of the original Final Fantasy VII game, it took him about forty hours to finish his first playthrough which seems to...

Final Fantasy VII Remake (with nostalgia and extra content)

After this Pulitzer Prize winning journalism from Kotaku... it might actually persuade me to give the game a try despite what looks like a pretty challenging format of gameplay. :p

Final Fantasy VII Remake (with nostalgia and extra content)

Yeah the real time thing looks like it could be very difficult to get the hang of for me... after watching some of these early lets plays. It might just look intimidating, I dunno. The episodic content doesn't surprise me though. The original game back in 1997 came out on three CD's or whatever...

Final Fantasy VII Remake (with nostalgia and extra content)

It's not just for movies anymore, yet another high quality (or at least high priced) remake/reboot of a popular video game series is going to be released on April 10th, this time for a legend in video game history, 1997's Final Fantasy VII. It certainly looks beautiful, though on a glance...
