    Teleportation in 40k typically requires traversing the Warp so would it operate outside of the Warp (ie outside of the 40K verse)? Teleporting onto ships is chancy anyways.     Yeah but the ships seem to be pretty small. But it is convenient that each squad gets a dedicated orbital close air support vessel. You see them exploding every so often over the Cyborg Commie planets though. They seem to rather expendable as well.
