    Election 2020 Election 2020: It's (almost) over! (maybe...possibly...ahh who are we kidding, it's 2020!)

Tell me which of these statements you disagree with, because it is pretty straightforward. 1) Mail in votes leaned Democratic this year, because Democrats were more likely to have concerns about COVID and therefore vote by mail, and because Trump was heavily against mail in voting so...

    Election 2020 Election 2020: It's (almost) over! (maybe...possibly...ahh who are we kidding, it's 2020!)

It was extremely widely known before the election that late ballots in states that counted mail in ballots after the regular ballots were going to lean heavily Dem. Dems were much more likely to vote by mail this election (due to them actually being worried about coronavirus and Trump being...

    Election 2020 Election 2020: It's (almost) over! (maybe...possibly...ahh who are we kidding, it's 2020!)

Because the things Republicans want to do to "prevent cheating" (which again, no massive fraud case was ever shown solid evidence of and dozens of cases on the topic were thrown out, even by Trump-appointed judges) also make it more difficult for people to vote, particularly minorities. I'll...

As far as I can tell they aren't being sued anywhere. They are, however, suing or setting up lawsuits against several people for defamation, including Sidney Powell.

As I said before, Pence isn't going to do the thing he doesn't have the power to do.

Dems have a decently solid lead in terms of where they need to be in order to win (Warnock more than Ossoff), though it's not certain yet.

One location lost power for a bit, the other opened late. They're each staying open about a half hour longer. Shit like this happens in every election, it is absolutely normal and not any sign of fraud.

    Election 2020 Election 2020: It's (almost) over! (maybe...possibly...ahh who are we kidding, it's 2020!)

Did you just ask what if "the machines" aren't working, or did you ask "what if the touch screen and printer are working but the scanner is not?" The method I described is the legal way to do it according to Georgia's election code if the scanner isn't working but the touch screen/printer are...

    Election 2020 Election 2020: It's (almost) over! (maybe...possibly...ahh who are we kidding, it's 2020!)

Voting in Georgia is a multi part process. You fill out your ballot on a touch screen, print it, and then scan it in a scanner. They give out emergency paper ballots when the ballot marking machine and/or printer isn't working, because that means there is no original ballot to use. When the...

    Election 2020 Election 2020: It's (almost) over! (maybe...possibly...ahh who are we kidding, it's 2020!)

Feel free, but I've pointed to the section in both the Georgia poll workers manual and the Georgia State Elections Code as to what happens when the scanner isn't working. The original vote is held until the machine is working, replaced, or if that isn't possible then it's run through a different...

    Election 2020 Election 2020: It's (almost) over! (maybe...possibly...ahh who are we kidding, it's 2020!)

Section 11(b) on that document goes through the same procedure I linked from the ballot workers manual. No extra emergency ballot, the original ballot is saved for either when the machine is fixed or replaced, or by using a different machine.

    Election 2020 Election 2020: It's (almost) over! (maybe...possibly...ahh who are we kidding, it's 2020!)

From the Georgia Poll Worker manual on the official Georgia Secretary of State website. There is no special extra ballot, the original ballot is held onto to be scanned later.

It is not, it is the standard practice everywhere.

Pence doesn't have the power to reject electors, his role is purely to read the certified results.

Rudy Giuliani literally said that he wasn't alleging fraud and that it wasn't a fraud case. Other Trump campaign lawyers have said the same in other cases.

To be fair, not all the of affidavits are intentional lies. Many of them are just people who have no idea how the process works and assume anything they see must be fraud somehow.

They specifically said that Texas doesn't have standing, did you read the order? The demand for relief is the part where you ask the court to do something. If you don't have a demand for relief, you don't have a case because you aren't asking the court to do anything.

    Election 2020 Election 2020: It's (almost) over! (maybe...possibly...ahh who are we kidding, it's 2020!)

No, because that would be incredibly stupid and pointless. "Dear Supreme Court: those things we said before, but don't do anything" is not anything.

Posting this here as well since both threads have been talking about it, As I expected, the Supreme Court denied the Texas case due to lack of standing. Thomas and Alito, as usual, would have granted leave to file because they basically always say that they think the Supreme Court has to take...

The entire case is for the court of public opinion, because legally and factually it is garbage.
