I think it has more to do with the fact that gay men have intensely high rates of sexual abuse as children and that those who are sexually abused as children tend to sexually abuse children in adult hood.

Btw, one of those pedophiles is a director of the San Francisco Gay Mens Choir. Keep in mind, this list is only those who’ve been charged and convicted of these crimes. That isn’t a full tally of people who actually want to have sex with children in that choir.
